AZ WEAK VOICE PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy for communication, Personal Voice, and licensing
AZ Weak Voice is an assistive communication app that can convert speech or typed text into spoken output and can optionally create authorized Personal Voice output.
The app is designed so that users’ communication content and Personal Voice content remain on their device. Limited technical and licensing information is used only for specific online functions such as trial activation, purchase verification, purchase restoration, and Google Play review access.
Privacy at a glance
✓ Communication content stays local — Live Transcript text, Type to Speak text, Quick Phrases, recordings, reference audio, and generated Personal Voice output are not sent to AZinvent for the app’s local processing functions.
✓ Limited licensing data only when needed — trial activation, purchase verification, and purchase restoration use limited technical or licensing information, not communication content.
✓ Diagnostics are user-controlled — support reports are created locally only when requested and are shared only when the user separately chooses to send them.
✓ No advertising or general analytics SDKs — AZ Weak Voice does not include advertising SDKs or general-purpose analytics or telemetry SDKs.
POLICY DETAILS
How AZ Weak Voice handles data and privacy
The detailed policy is grouped below into four sections covering local content and Personal Voice, licensing and purchases, support and security, and other policy information.
Local content and Personal Voice
1. Local speech and Personal Voice processing
Offline speech recognition and Personal Voice generation can run locally after the required models are downloaded. Communication content, transcripts, recordings, reference audio, and generated Personal Voice output are not sent to AZinvent for these local processing functions.
2. Model downloads
Model downloads are started by the user. The device connects to the relevant model-hosting service to download the requested files. That external service may receive ordinary network information, such as the device’s IP address and request metadata, according to its own privacy practices.
3. Personal Voice authorization
Personal Voice references should be created or used only when the user owns the recording or has lawful permission from the person whose voice is represented.
Trial, purchases, and review access
4. Personal Voice Pro trial
AZ Weak Voice offers a 7-day Personal Voice Pro trial. Trial activation and recovery use an account-free, pseudonymous licensing process. Limited technical information is used to preserve the original trial state across ordinary reinstall situations. Communication content and Personal Voice content are not part of the trial licensing process.
5. Google Play purchases and promo redemption
Lifetime purchase, purchase restoration, and promo-code redemption use Google Play Billing. For purchase verification, AZ Weak Voice may send limited information such as the app package name, Google Play product ID, purchase token, and app version to the AZinvent licensing service.
AZinvent does not require an AZ Weak Voice account for purchase or restoration and does not receive the user’s full payment-card information through the app. Payment processing is handled by Google Play.
6. Google Play review access
A separate review-only authorization mechanism may be used to allow authorized Google Play reviewers to test Personal Voice Pro without using the normal trial or making a purchase. This review access is separate from ordinary user trial and purchase entitlement.
Online licensing functions do not send communication content. Trial activation, purchase verification, restoration, and review access use limited technical or entitlement information; users’ speech, transcripts, typed messages, reference audio, and generated Personal Voice content are not sent to AZinvent as part of those functions.
Support, analytics, retention, and security
7. Support & Diagnostics
Support reports are created locally only when the user explicitly requests one. Nothing is uploaded or sent automatically. Sharing requires a separate Share Report action through Android’s share interface.
The default report is designed to exclude communication content and sensitive voice material, including recordings, reference audio, Live Transcript text, Type to Speak text, Quick Phrase text, saved voice or profile names, purchase tokens, promo codes, and the anonymous trial-device pseudonym.
8. Analytics and advertising
AZ Weak Voice does not include advertising SDKs or general-purpose analytics or telemetry SDKs.
9. Data retention
Communication content and Personal Voice content that remain local are stored on the user’s device according to normal app and Android storage behavior and can be removed through applicable app controls, app-data clearing, uninstall, or other device-management actions.
Limited licensing records may be retained as needed to operate trial, purchase verification, restoration, and related entitlement functions.
10. Security
AZinvent uses reasonable technical safeguards for the limited online functions used by AZ Weak Voice, including protected network communication and security measures for licensing-related information.
Local licensing-related state may also use Android security mechanisms. No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
Children, policy updates, and contact
11. Children’s privacy
AZ Weak Voice uses the same privacy approach regardless of age. If a child uses the app, a parent or guardian should supervise purchases, model downloads, voluntary support-report sharing, and the creation or use of Personal Voice references.
Personal Voice references should only be created or used with appropriate authorization from the person whose voice is represented.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
AZinvent may update this Privacy Policy as AZ Weak Voice, its features, or its privacy practices change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
